This position is ideal for someone with a proven track record in offensive security who can take ownership of client engagements and mentor junior team members.

Job Summary:
The Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s information security strategy. This role involves working closely with senior management, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the protection of sensitive data and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on security best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security measures into all aspects of the organization.
  • Regularly review and update security protocols and systems.
  • Report on security metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or 10 years experience related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with cloud security, network security, and endpoint protection.
